Patterson B Bell 1789-1854 4th Great Grandfather

Patterson B Bell was born on the 18th of October 1789 in Faggs Manor, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
His family moved to Kentucky somewhere before 1804 because his brothers and sisters arre listed as being born there.
In 1817 he married Nancy Beasley.
I only have their son James Bell born in 1819.
Patterson died 17th July 1854 in Todds Point, Shelby County, Kentucky.
His wife Nancy had passed 23 years earlier in 1831.

William Bell 175-1807 5th Great Grandfather

William Bell was born around 15 in West Fallowfield, Chester County Pennsylvania.
William married Louisa Rustin about 180.
They had 5 sons and two daughters during their marriage.
Sometime after 1804 they had moved to Montgomery County, Kentucky
William died a few years later in 1807.

John Bell 1705-1796 6th Great Grandfather

John was born in 1705 in Ireland.
He originally settled in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and then later moved east to West Fallowfield, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
John married Mary Montgomery Patterson on the 13th of August 1745.
He was a farmer and had three children from what I have found so far.
John died on the 23rd of December 1796 in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.

Daisy Virginia Salmons 1876-1943 Great Grandmother

Daisy Virginia Salmons was born on the 30th of November 1876 in Missouri.
Her Parents Joseph and Mary Salmons came to Missouri from Germanton, Stokes County, North Carolina.
Daisy was the youngest of nine children.
She married Jesse Turner on August 9th 1896 in Bel Air, Cooper County, Missouri.
They had two children Enoch and Thelma.
Her husband Jesse died in 1925.
It appears by the 1930 census that she then lived with her son Enoch in Bourbon, Boone County until her passing in 1943.

Margaret Jane Tolson 1853-1933 2nd Great Grandmother

Margaret Jane was born to James Anderson & and Lovey Tolson on the 3rd of February, 1853.
All I have so far is that she was born in Missouri.

Margaret married Enoch Turner on the 22nd of February 1874.

In 1875 Maggie gave birth to your great grandfather Jesse on the 9th of April. I believe Jesse has a sister that went by Nannie in 1882. She married someone with the last name of Richards.

Jessie would pass away before Maggie in 1925. Her Husband dies in 1931 and she would pass two years later in 1933 at the age of 80.

Sarah Ann Tolson 1830-1896 3rd Great Grandmother

Sarah Ann Tolson was born on the 2nd of January 1830 in Columbia, Boone County, Missouri.
Her parents were Fountain Tolson and Charlotte Goslin.

She married James Anderson Turner on the 8th of October in 1847.

She gave birth to your 2nd great grandfather Enoch on the 1st of September in 1851.

Sarah's father would pass away 11 years later in 1862.
When she was 45 her husband would pass in 1875.

Her mother Charlotte dies in 1890 when Sarah was 60 years of age.
Sarah would pass at the age of 66. She was a lifelong resident of Boone, Missouri.


Susannah Tolson 178-1848 4th Great Grandmother

Susannah Tolson was born in Stafford, Virginia.
She is the daughter of Thomas Tolson.

I am not sure how she arrived in Kentucky but that is where she married Enoch Turner on the 0th of December 1811.

After they were married they moved to Boone Missouri and on  the 17 of July 1826 Susannah gave birth to your 3rd Great grandfather James Anderson Turner.

In 1840, her husband Enoch died. Four years later her father, Thomas passed away in 1844. Susannah would pass four years later in 1848.

Catherine Smith 1735-1780 6th Great Grandmother

Catherine Smith was born the 16 of April 1735 in Hopewell, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. There is a record showing her birth in Fauger, Virginia but more points to New jersey.
She is the daughter of John Smith and Rebecca Anderson. I do not yet have information on them.

By 1754 she had moved to Rowan, North Carolina where she married Thomas Turner on the 5th of May.

Catherine gave birth to your 5th Great Grandfather on the 21st of November 1755.

She died in October of 1780 in Rowan County, North Carolina.

Jesse Turner 1875-1925 Great Grandfather

Jesse Turner was born April 9th 185 in Boone, Missouri
Before he turned 25 he married Daisy Virginia Salmons 1876-1943

In 1900, Daisy gave birth to Thelma, your Great Aunt(1900-1988)
In 1908 Daisy gave birth to your Grandfather Enoch

On May 4th 1925, your great grandfather passed away in Sullivan County, Missouri.

Enoch Turner 1851-1931 2nd Great Grandfather

Enoch Tuner was born the 1st of September 1851.
He is the son of James Anderson Turner and Sarah Ann Tolson

Enoch married Margaret Jane Tolson prior to 1875.
They gave birth to your Great Grandfather Jesse Turner April 9th 1875

Enoch died March 22nd 1931 in Audrain County, Missouri

Enoch Turner was born 5 May 1791 Madison, Kentucky
He died 4 Aug 1840 in Boone, Columbia, Missouri

On December 11th 1811 he married Susannah Tolson(There are many variations of the last name)

On 17 Jul 1826 Susannah gave birth to your 3rd Great Grandfather, James Anderson Turner.

He was born 21 Nov 1755 in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell, North Carolina
Died 10 Sep 1834 in Columbia, Boone, Missouri

Between 1776-1779 James Married Jemima Wells 1759-1834

James is the 5th great grandfather of Roger Turner
James fought in the revolutionary war for North Carolina and I believe also Virginia.

On May 5th 1754 he Married Catherine Smith 1735-1780 in Rowan North Carolina.

They had one son James Turner 1755-1834 He was born in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell, North Carolina

Thomas fought in the Revolutionary war for the state of North Carolina.
Thomas died  9 DEC 1822 • Madison County, Kentucky
